Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Virtual Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra – A Sacred Journey Into Deep Rest
End your day by slowing down, turning inward, and giving your body and nervous system permission to soften.
This 60-minute evening class combines 30 minutes of Yin Yoga with 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra, creating a deeply restorative practice designed to help you release the day and transition into a more peaceful state before sleep.
We’ll begin with 30 minutes of Yin Yoga, a slow and meditative practice where gentle floor-based postures are held for longer periods of time. Rather than pushing or striving, Yin invites you to soften into each pose, become present with the sensations in your body, and allow tension to gradually release.
Yin Yoga may help support:
- Increased flexibility and mobility
- Release of physical tension and tightness
- Greater body awareness and connection
- A sense of grounding and stillness
- Relaxation and nervous system regulation
- A deeper connection to your breath and inner experience
From there, you’ll settle into 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra, often called yogic sleep. This guided meditation is practiced lying comfortably and requires no movement or effort. You’ll be guided away from the activity of the day and into progressively deeper states of relaxation and awareness.
Yoga Nidra may help:
- Calm an overstimulated nervous system
- Reduce mental and emotional tension
- Quiet racing thoughts
- Support deeper, more restful sleep
- Encourage physical and emotional relaxation
- Cultivate greater self-awareness and inner connection
Together, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra create a beautiful evening ritual—a space to slow down, listen to your body, release what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with yourself.
No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed. Come as you are, get comfortable, and allow yourself to simply soften, surrender, and rest.
